Dear Perfect
You are everything I have ever looked for in a person, and wish everyday that I could spend every minute of my life with you. Not a day goes by that I don’t think of you. It’s a shame that I met you after you already found him. It kills me every time I see you and I see that ring on your finger. I never feel as good as I do when I’m with you, but I wouldn’t trade the short times we have together for anything. Because as sad as I get when you go away, I’m just as happy when you are around. At the end of the day though I understand, and wish you nothing but the best in your life. I pray every night that you are happy. My only hope now is to be able to call you one of my best friends, because you are. In whatever way I can, I love you.

i completely understand you in every way possible. mine does’t wear his ring but he is still married… heck, so am i. how unfair it is to settle down and eventually find someone else who makes you feel like they could have been the one. it’s heartbreaking.
My love is not perfect, but I did end up with him. I loved the one I was with at one time, but we eventually changed too much and did not love each other enough. Someone came between us and captured his heart, and then I was free to be with my star crossed lover. So be it. Be true to yourself, however difficult it may be.
